dipoleGenerator is a a simple utility that generates an initial microstructure made of prismatic loops, and writes the corresponding Dislocation Vertex file and Dislocation Edge file.

Using the Makefile in any of the Dislocation Dynamics tutorials, compile as:

make dipoleGenerator

The dipoleGenerator reads input parameters from the file “microstructureInput.txt” in the current directory.
